During the recent same sex marriage vote in Australia the catholic church donated 5 million dollars to the no campaign. When challenged as to why this money was not used to re-imburse people who had been sexually abused by pedo priests or used to basically end homelessness in that city. Their response was pretty much. It’s more important that straight marriage be preserved.
