Never forget that the War on Drugs was fabricated to criminalize certain communities. 

Not only that, but marijuana was outlawed in the Prohibition Era specifically because of the American people’s hatred of Latinx people, and the government exploited that bigotry by associating them with weed and told everyone that marijuana made people violent and uncontrollable.
