Twice the triumvirate has dressed up as Alvin, Simon, and Theodore from Alvin and the Chipmunks for Halloween: once in the third grade because their parents thought it would be cute and easy, and once for a party in their junior year of college because by making their own costumes they weren’t jeopardizing the integrity of their personal war on (and their general distain for) capitalism-based holidays. All it called for was sweatshirts they already owned, the glasses Ferre wears every day of his life, Courfeyrac being his usual adorable self, and a giant A taped to the front of Enjolras. Grantaire sputtered as soon as he saw them and to this day he refuses to accept that that A stood for anything other than ‘Apollo’.
