things that are never mentioned ever in supernatural now but had major psychological impact on sam:

– he watched his girlfriend (potential fiancée) burn to death (and he had nightmares about it in the first couple episodes of s1 and probably still to this day)

– he was forced to watch so many people die through his premonitions

– especially during the first couple seasons, he was constantly seen as a freak/monster (hunted by gordon, immune to croatoan virus, bullied by dean)

– meg used his body to assault the hunter, jo, and dean

– he had to shoot the first girl he opened up to romantically since jess’s death

– he carries the weight of dean’s demon deal and blames himself (and had to watch as his brother was ripped to shreds)

– HE!! HAD! TO!! WATCH!! HIS!! BROTHER!! DIE!! OVER!! 100!! TIMES!! IN!! MYSTERY!! SPOT!!

– he was on drugs and depressed and suicidal and basically a full-time alcoholic while dean was dead

– ruby (someone he trusted!!) manipulated him into becoming an addict and breaking the last seal (which he entirely blames himself for) (even though dean broke the first seal in hell) (and he was only in hell because HE made the crossroads deal)

– a ghoul who looked like adam, his newly found brother, sliced his arms open like he was an animal (this was LITERALLY never mentioned again)

– sam’s detox is almost never mentioned and it was extremely emotionally and physically painful

– lucifer is generally seen as evil, right? well sam was told that he is lucifer’s perfect vessel and he believes that he is inherently evil bc of this

– in ‘swap meat’ gary used sam’s body to have sex

– sam has to live with all of the people his soulless body hurt (and dean berated him the entire season for not having a soul) (which wasn’t his fault in any way, shape, or form)

– cas, someone else that he trusted, broke the wall in his head causing hallucinations of his centuries in lucifer’s cage

– non con with becky. i don’t have to say anything else.

– his lucifer hallucinations tortured him to the point of refusing to sleep and eat… he was in a mental hospital for crying out loud!!!!!

– the first girl he kissed after jess was killed was killed by crowley

– THEY NEVER TALK ABOUT THE TRIALS WHICH LITERALLY LED SAM TO SAY “SO?” WHEN HE WAS TOLD THAT HE’S GONNA DIE

– AND WHEN DO THEY DISCUSS GARDEEL NOW?? never!!!! dean tricked sam into accepting a being into him that he KNEW sam wouldn’t say “yes” to because of his past experience with lack of autonomy.

– and gadreel used sam’s body to kill people, including kevin who they thought of as a brother (and sam has said that he wakes up seeing his hands killing kevin)

– sam was willing to die when cas was extracting grace

– sam refused to give up dean’s location at the beginning of s10 to cole, even though dean was a demon

– SAM WAS TORTURED BY COLE. WHY IS THIS NEVER BROUGHT UP???

– sam was verbally abused by demon! dean (i know dean was a demon but sam was visibly shaken when he was talking about mary)

– once again, sam was willing to die in ‘the werther project’ and basically slit his own wrist

– sam obviously vomited after seeing charlie’s dead body

– dean wouldn’t even allow sam to speak at charlie’s funeral and was told that he should be the dead one

– sam was brutally beaten by his brother in “brother’s keeper” and was ONCE AGAIN ready to die

– sam was sick with the darkness virus at the beginning of s11 and cured himself + other infected people WITHOUT ANYBODY’S HELP

– sam willingly approached lucifer for help with amara, despite being tortured for centuries

– SAM WAS TORTURED FOR SEVERAL DAYS AT THE BEGINNING OF S12 (INCLUDING NON CON) and then worked with his abuser for the remainder of the season

– *whispers* and sam being killed by the vamp at the end of s13 will probably not be mentioned again :’))))))

Notable dumbass Elon Musk doesn’t know when to quit

Actually, Elon is right. And you know you don’t have any arguments when you immediately use personal attacks

Hmmmmm I wonder why this guy might dislike unions.

I thought it was absurd when they started treating corporations like people. Now they want to pretend corporations are oppressed and subject to bigotry? Lmfao

‘The retailer, which last year made more than £6bn of revenues in
Britain, has a disciplinary system under which points are accrued for
illness. Workers are issued a penalty point for each episode of
sickness.

Workers are told that more than one point will result
in a “series of counselling and disciplinary meetings” and between four
and six points can result in dismissal.

In one case, a woman who spent three days in hospital with a kidney
infection was docked two points, reduced to one on appeal, despite
providing a hospital note.

The system has been revealed in an investigation by The Sunday Times at Amazon’s sorting depot in Dunfermline, Scotland.

The
undercover reporter was paid £7.35 per hour by an agency that supplies
workers to Amazon, but was left with less than the minimum wage after
paying £10 for the agency’s bus which took her to the site 40 miles from
her home in Glasgow.

It emerged this weekend that some low-paid
workers are camping out in woodland near the sorting depot to avoid
paying the bus costs and ensure they are left with more than the minimum
wage…

The reporter obtained a job with PMP Recruitment, one of the two main
agencies that hires and supervises workers at the Dunfermline depot.
The investigation found:

  • Workers being threatened with dismissal
if they accrued too many points for illness, late attendance or
absence, or for making too many errors or failing to hit productivity
    targets.

  • A claim from a worker in Amazon’s on-site first-aid
clinic that workers were under pressure to hit targets and were
suffering injuries in the rush to collect products

  • Workers were
expected to cover more than 10 miles a day in the warehouse collecting
items, but water dispensers to ensure they avoided dehydration were
    regularly empty

  • The reporter was told she had to sign an
opt-out of the working time directive, which limits weekly hours to 48,
in order to get a job.

The reporter was employed as a “temporary
warehouse operative” at Amazon’s vast plant in Fife. She worked in the
“picking” department, which involved retrieving items from across
several floors of the sprawling warehouse, according to orders displayed
on a handheld scanner she was given. She worked at least 10 hours a
day, with an unpaid 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks….

Under the system
set out in the Amazon temporary associate handbook, half a point is
issued to recruits who are late to work or late back from a break; one
point for “one period of sickness”; and three points for “no call, no
show”. The undercover reporter was told that anyone who was more than 30
seconds late in arriving at work or returning after a break would be
subject to the half-point penalty.

Workers were also told that if
they made more than one error a week in collecting items or failed to
hit productivity targets they could be subject to a disciplinary
process, which could result in dismissal.’

how the fuck are the unions allowing this???? disgusting

Support the Amazon general strike today, July 10th – do not buy from Amazon! Even if your intention is to make some kind of statement with your purchase – don’t, this is (as other bloggers before me have said) the equivalent of crossing a picket line and still handing them profit!

people are really saying that the guys from q eye are bad representation

those are….real people…….

“they’re all stereotypes”

they’re people living their lives? shut up

some people on here don’t know how to fuckin read

i don’t give a fuck about this show

i’ve watched like 4 episodes and most of those were with my friend’s mom (i watched 1 episode on my own and it was specifically the episode of the trans man)

this isn’t about defending the show or saying that anyone in it can never do wrong or whatever you wanna twist this post to mean

it’s saying to stop calling real living people “stereotypes” because doing so shows you don’t know what a fucking stereotype is

when you call actual, living gay and bi men “bad representation” for being their authentic selves because they’re too flamboyant or feminine for your liking, you’re just being fucking homophobic
